history

The guitarist and songwriter Alexander Schroer founded the project in 2009 and in the same year recorded his first EP with singer Caroline Wolter. Both attended the same school and later got to know the guitarist Markus Bücken. In 2010 the first self-produced album Majestic was created with the original line-up of Caroline Wolter (vocals), Alexander Schroer (acoustic guitar), Markus Bücken (electric guitar), Dennis Glettenberg (bass) and Stefan Mühlenkamp (drums). At that time Kai Schumacher only played the piano in the studio and only a few live performances and was not yet a permanent member of the band. In the same year there were two line-up changes. Thorsten Schwesinger joined the band as the new drummer and Thomas Kennel as the new bass player. At the same time Kai Schumacher became a permanent pianist of the band.

In the summer of 2010, Mobilée recorded the title Spaceships together with the Hawaiian singer / songwriter Makana . At the end of 2010, the band played in the opening act of the artist Das Geanned Ich on his Germany tour. In 2011 the band was accepted into the coaching program of the Volkswagen Sound Foundation and signed a recording contract with Universal in the autumn of the same year . In October 2011, Mobilée were the opening act for the Swedish band Roxette on their complete tour of Germany. In February 2012 they went on their first small club tour. In the summer of 2012 the band toured Germany as a support act for singer Tim Bendzko . Mobilée have been on tour through Germany through smaller clubs again since mid-November. The tour will last until December 6th. The debut album Walking on a Twine (produced by Olaf Opal ) was released on September 14, 2012.
