Moga ( Panjabi ਮੋਗਾ ) is a city ( Municipal Corporation ) in the northwest Indian state of Punjab .

Moga is located in the lowlands at an altitude of 243 m 65 km west of the city of Ludhiana . The city is the seat of the district of the same name . The major roads NH 95 (Ludhiana - Firozpur ) and NH 703 ( Jalandhar - Barnala ) connect Moga with the larger cities in the area.
