The Molbo ( Russian , Yakutisch Молбо , in the upper reaches also Молво (Molwo)) is a left tributary of the Tschara in the Irkutsk Oblast and in the Republic of Sakha in southern Eastern Siberia .

The Molbo rises on the northeastern edge of the Patom highlands in the Irkutsk Oblast. It flows mainly in an easterly direction across the border with the Sakha Republic and flows into the Tschara after 334 km on the left. The catchment area covers 6040 km². The river is mainly fed by the snowmelt . Between May and September it leads to high water . In October the river freezes. In May the Molbo is ice-free again.
