Hunnu Air ( Mongolian Хүннү Эйр , until 2013 Mongolian Airlines ) is a Mongolian airline based in Ulaanbaatar and based at Chinggis Khaan International Airport .
history
Hunnu Air was founded in 1956 under the name "Monnis Air Service Company". She has until mid-2011, only agricultural Nutzflüge with machines of the model An-2 Antonov performed. Since then, the company has been flying under the name Mongolian Airlines primarily in national and international scheduled services .
Due to name disputes with the state-owned MIAT Mongolian Airlines , the name of the airline was changed on May 18, 2013.
Destinations
Hunnu Air serves national destinations in Mongolia as well as an international route to China and Russia . From October 11, 2018 [obsolete] the airline wants to take advantage of the 5th freedom of air and fly from Ulan-Ude in Russia to Hailar in China.
