Monolink

Monolink (* 1989 in Hamburg ; bourgeois Steffen Linck ) a German is DJ and record producer of electronic dance music . He has published for Anjunadeep and Embassy One , among others .

His first song The End was released in 2015. The work was created in cooperation with the music producer Acid Pauli . Linck gained national fame through various festival appearances at renowned festivals such as Echelon , Melt , Burning Man , Lightning in a Bottle and Ikarus . He became known to a wider international audience through club appearances, e.g. B. known in New York City and Chicago . His debut album Amniotic was released on April 20, 2018 . The online magazine Laut.de describes Monolink's music as a “soap bubble sound between indie and electro.” One of the characteristics of his music is the use of his own singer-songwriter elements, which is also expressed in his live sets. In an interview he counted the Turmstrasse and Apparat collective among his role models.

Monolink lives in Berlin and is closely connected to the Berlin techno scene .
