The Monte Schiara (also La Schiara or just Schiara ) is a 2565 m high mountain in the Dolomites ( Italy ) north of Belluno , which is located in the Schiara Group (also Sciara Group or Belluno Dolomites ) and entirely in the Belluno Dolomites National Park . To the north of Monte Schiara is the Val di Zoldo .
To the summit of Monte Schiara several climbing routes (lead Via ferrata Luigi Zacchi , Via ferrata Marmol , Via ferrata Berti , Via ferrata Sperti ), the surefootedness , head for heights and climbing skills for unsecured passages in difficulty I require. The starting point is the Rifugio 7º Alpini ( 1502 m ).
Near the Bivacco Ugo Dalla Bernardino ( 2328 m ), the distinctive spire rises Gusela del Vescovà ( 2366 m ). The (oldest) Dolomites high path 1 from Lake Braies to Belluno crosses this mountain group just before the destination.
