The Moravská Sázava ( Zohsee , also Moravian Sasau ) is a right tributary of the March in the Czech Republic . The water is mentioned as aqua Zazauia as early as 1275 .
The source is 780 m above sea level. M. in the Eagle Mountains south of the village Čenkovice on the southwest slope of the Buková hora (980 m) and flows south. Other places on its course are Výprachtice , Albrechtice , Sázava , Žichlínek , Krasíkov and Tatenice , where it crosses the Hohenstädter Uplands to the east in a breakthrough valley.
At Hoštejn the largest tributary, the Březná (Friese), flows on the left . Hněvkov, Nemile and Zábřeh are still on Moravská Sázava . After 54.3 km the river flows into 264 m above sea level. M. between Rájec and Zvole in the March. Its catchment area is 507 km²
