Der Tote im Elchwald is a German TV film by Peter Sämann from 2008 . Psychiatrist Dr. Wendelin Winter travels to Sweden with his daughter Alexandra to give a day's talk about hunting at Lund University . Winter is invited to the elk hunt and spends a fun evening with the shipyard owner Gunnar Larsson. The next day the news comes of the death of his company partner Malte, who was apparently hit while hunting. Wendelin Winter assumes a targeted murder and is investigating this matter. He finds out that his friend Gunnar has many enemies. Winter's daughter Alexandra, meanwhile, allies with a group of conservationists.
