Morgane Riou (born January 6, 1986 in Nantes ) is a French duathlete and triathlete . She is a four-time French cross-triathlon champion (2015-2018) and reigning European cross-duathlon and cross-triathlon champion (2019).

Career

At the French Duathlon Championships, Morgane Riou was third in Chaumont in 2004.

In 2008 Morgane Riou was third in the U23 world championships on the short distance duathlon. In 2015 she became French Cross Triathlon Champion in Saint-Bonnet-Tronçais and she was able to secure this title three more times in a row until 2018.

In June 2019, the 33-year-old became ETU European cross triathlon champion in Romania and a few days later also cross duathlon.
In August, she also became European cross triathlon champion in the Xterra racing series in the Czech Republic .
