Moritz Ferdinand Gustav von Rockhausen (born January 6, 1792 in Wittgendorf ; † January 22, 1859 ) was a Saxon lieutenant general and commandant of the Königstein Fortress .

Moritz was born as the second eldest son of the Saxon Prime Minister Christian Gottfried von Rockhausen (1752-1812), Herr auf Wittgendorf and Albersroda and Johanna Christiana Wilhelmina von Wolframsdorf († 1808). He was married to Marianne Margaretha Freiin von Reitzenstein from the Schönberg family.

Military career
