Mori (t) z Maria Edler von Weittenhiller (born September 8, 1847 Vienna ; † February 18, 1911 Bozen ) was an Austrian genealogist and heraldist .

He became known as an author and draftsman at the New Screen Maker from 1884. Here he was significantly involved in the standard work on the Salzburg nobility and their coats of arms. He was a kk official.

Life

The family can be traced back to 1643 and comes from Carinthia . Moriz Maria was the son of the wholesaler Friedrich Edlen von Weitenhiller and his wife Anna geb. Meat chopper.

In 1903, together with other personalities, he founded the “Austrian Ex-libris Society”. He was Chancellor of the German Order of Knights.
