Moritz Seydel

Moritz Lothar Seidel (also Seydel ) (born December 25, 1853 in Landeshut in Silesia ; † June 28, 1926 ) was a German manor owner and member of parliament in Silesia .

Life

Seydel attended high school in Brieg . After graduating from high school in 1874, he enrolled at the Silesian Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität and was active in the Corps Borussia Breslau . He also served as a one-year volunteer in the artillery and became a lieutenant in the reserve of the Prussian Army . As an inactive he studied law at the University of Leipzig and the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin .

After passing his legal traineeship , he took over his father's manor in Deutsch Breile , from which he supported his corps with food . He was put up as a candidate for the Prussian House of Representatives by the Free Conservative Party and the Federation of Farmers . He was elected for the constituency of Breslau 11 (Ohlau / Brieg) in legislative periods 16 (1886–1888) and 17 (1889–1893). Then he succumbed to the candidate of the left. He was also a member of the district council and the district committee of the Ohlau district .
