Morteza Gholi Ghadimi Navai (* 1921 in Tehran ; † unknown) was an Iranian ambassador .

Life

He studied political science at the University of Tehran . In 1940 he joined the foreign service. In 1945 he was employed in the invoice archive and in 1946 in the cryptography office. From 1949 to 1951 he was attached to the embassy in Belgrade , where he was appointed second class legation secretary in 1950 and first class legation secretary in 1951. In 1952 he was first class legation secretary in Bern . In 1953 he was employed in the Foreign Minister's office. In 1955 he was first-class delegation secretary in Paris, where he was appointed delegation councilor in 1957. From 1958 to 1961 he was ambassador in Rabat . On May 12, 1964 he was given an exequaturgranted as Consul General in Munich . From October 14, 1968 to 1973 he was ambassador to Tunis .

In October 1974 he became State Secretary for Culture in the Foreign Ministry:

On November 19, 1975, the deputy foreign ministers, Klaus Willerding and Mortez Ghadimi Navai, signed an agreement on cultural cooperation for the government of the German Democratic Republic and for the imperial government of Iran .
