Morven Christie
Morven Christie (born June 24, 1979 in Helensburgh , Strathclyde ) is a Scottish actress .
life and career
Morven Christie grew up in Glasgow and Aviemore . She studied acting at the Drama Center London , which she graduated in 2003. Her work as an actress covers stage, film and television. She currently lives in north London .
In 2006 she played the role of Juliet ( Romeo and Juliet ) and the role of Hero ( Much Ado About Nothing ) in plays for the Royal Shakespeare Company .
Christie played Jane Bennet on the ITV miniseries Lost in Austen , a modern take on Austen's pride and prejudice . In 2009 she played one of the bigger roles in the series Monday Monday and she was also seen in a supporting role in Young Victoria .
In 2008 Christie was included in Sam Mendes ' theater company and appeared as Anya in Tom Stoppard's new version of The Cherry Orchard . She played the role of Perdita in Shakespeare's Winter Tale , which was performed at the Old Vic Theater in London. She has also appeared at the National Theater .
From 2011 she was included in several new television productions, including two new series from BBC and the German-English two- parter Laconia .
