Mr. Krueger's Christmas is an American television film from 1980 produced by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints . The film stars James Stewart , directed by Kieth Merrill and also shows the Mormon Tabernacle Choir . It aired on NBC on December 21, 1980 .
Synopsis
James Stewart plays Willy Krueger, a widowed apartment janitor who lives in a basement apartment with his cat George. On a cold Christmas Eve he daydreams to escape his lonely life: he dances on the ice of Temple Square , conducts the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and is in the stables with Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus.
