Muhittin Erdem Bastürk (born January 3, 1991 in Neunkirchen ) is a German - Turkish soccer player .

Career

Bastürk played in the youth for the Turkish SC Neunkirchen, Borussia Neunkirchen and the youth department of 1. FC Saarbrücken , where he was trained by Jens Kiefer . In the following summer of 2008 Bastürk was signed together with Patrick Herrmann from Borussia Mönchengladbach . There the defensive midfielder was used 19 times in the U-19 Bundesliga between 2009 and 2010 , he scored one goal.

On February 20, 2010 Bastürk made his first appearance in the then third-class Regionalliga West when he was substituted on in the 65th minute in the game against the second team of 1. FC Kaiserslautern . By May 2013 he had completed 81 regional league games for Borussia Mönchengladbach II, in which he scored four goals. He was the captain of the crew. In July 2013 Bastürk moved to the Saarland third division promoted SV Elversberg and played there on July 20, 2013 (1st matchday) under coach Jens Kiefer in the goalless draw against SV Darmstadt 98, his first professional game in the third division. In total, he came to 25 missions this season. After the direct relegation of Elversberg, he moved to the Turkish TFF 2nd Lig in 2014 to Gümüşhanespor . After only one season, he moved to Bayrampaşaspor in the summer of 2015 before joining the northern regional division VfB Oldenburg . After two years, he then moved on to the Berlin AK 07 in the north-east season in summer 2018 , where he tore his inner ligament shortly before the start of the season. After a year he left the club and went back to the Regionalliga Nord for SSV Jeddeloh .

Bastürk played for the German U-17 (nine games, one goal) and U-18 national team (seven games).
