The municipality Pasorapa is a district in the department of Cochabamba in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
The municipality Pasorapa is one of three municipalities in the province of Narciso Campero . It borders the Municipio Omereque to the northwest , the Municipio Aiquile to the west, the Chuquisaca department to the south , and the Santa Cruz department to the east and northeast .
The central place of the municipality is the rural town of Pasorapa with 3,134 inhabitants in the central part of the district. (2012 census)

The Municipio Pasorapa lies between the mountain ranges of the Cordillera Oriental and the Cordillera Central . The climate is characterized by a typical daytime climate , in which the temperature fluctuations between day and night are greater than between the seasons.
The annual average temperature of the region is around 20 ° C (see the Omereque climate diagram), with the monthly averages fluctuating between 17.5 ° C in July and 22 ° C from October to February. Annual precipitation is 500 mm, with a pronounced dry season from April to October with monthly values below 20 mm, and a short moisture period from December to February with around 100 mm per month.
