Narciso Campero (short: Campero ) is one of sixteen provinces in the southeastern part of the Cochabamba department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia . It is named after the Bolivian general and president (1880–1884) Narciso Campero .

location

The province lies between the Bolivian Cordillera Oriental and the Cordillera Central . It borders in the northwest with the province of Mizque , in the southwest with the Department Potosí , in the south with the department Chuquisaca , in the east with the department Santa Cruz , and in the north with the province Carrasco .

The province extends between about 17 ° 50 'and 18 ° 40' south latitude and 64 ° 45 'and 65 ° 48' west longitude, its extent from west to east and from north to south is each about 75 kilometers.
