Capinota is a province in the southwestern part of the department of Cochabamba in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
location
The province is one of sixteen provinces in the department of Cochabamba. It borders in the northwest on the province of Quillacollo , in the southwest on the province of Arque , in the south on the Potosí department , in the east on the province of Esteban Arce , and in the north on the province of Cercado .
The province extends roughly between 17 ° 28 'and 17 ° 56' south latitude and 66 ° 33 'and 66 ° 49' west longitude, its extent from west to east is 25 kilometers, from north to south 55 kilometers.
