Arani is a province in the central part of the Cochabamba department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
location
The province is one of sixteen provinces in the high valley of the Vallo Alto in the department of Cochabamba. It borders the province of Punata to the west, the province of Mizque to the south, the province of Carrasco to the east , and the province of Tiraque to the north .
The province extends roughly between 17 ° 31 'and 17 ° 43' south latitude and 65 ° 53 'and 66 ° 15' west longitude, its extent from west to east is 30 kilometers, from north to south 20 kilometers.
