Tapacarí is a province in the eastern Cordillera of the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

location

The province is one of sixteen provinces in the southwestern part of the department of Cochabamba . It is bordered by the La Paz Department in the northwest, the Oruro Department in the southwest, the Arque Province in the south, the Quillacollo Province in the east and the Ayopaya Province in the north .

The province extends approximately between 17 ° 22 'and 17 ° 49' south latitude and 66 ° 49 'and 67 ° 22' west longitude, its extension from west to east is 55 kilometers, from north to south 45 kilometers. The province consists only of the municipality Tapacarí .
