The Mura ( Russian Мура ) is a left tributary of the Angara in the Irkutsk Oblast and in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in southern Siberia .
The Mura rises 100 km northwest of Bratsk . It flows through the Angara plateau in a deep valley in a predominantly north-north-westerly direction and flows into the Angara 40 km west of Kodinsk .
The Mura has a length of 330 km. It drains an area of 10,800 km². 79 km above the mouth, the mean discharge is 25 m³ / s. The Mura is fed by the snowmelt as well as by precipitation .
