Musa Musalaev

Musa Musalaev (born April 3, 1979 in Gurjew , Kazakh SSR ; † November 18, 2016 in Neu-Ulm ; pseudonym: Prince of Tatarstan ) was a Tatar kickboxer and multiple world champion in professional kickboxing and MMA (mixed martial arts).

Life

Musa Musalaev was an advisory board member of the authorized representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation in the field of development of sports and physical culture.

In 2010 he defeated Gamzat Isalmagomedow, a Russian kickboxer and then world champion (WAKO), by technical knockout in the fight for the world title in kickboxing (WBKF). By decree of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Nurgalijewitsch Minnichanow, on November 29, 2011 he became the official ambassador of the XXVII. Appointed Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan ( Russia ).

Since 2013 he lived with his family in Germany.

On November 18, 2016, Musalaev was shot dead by an unknown person in front of his house in Neu-Ulm for reasons that are not yet clear. He was buried in the cemetery in Neu-Ulm. The name Heinrich von Mirbach can be read on his tombstone .
