At Denizlispor he also scored his most important goal in his entire playing career, when he saved not only Denizlispor from relegation, but also the Fenerbahçe championship against Fenerbahçe Istanbul and Christoph Daum on the last day of the 2005/06 season with his 1-0 goal prevented (the game ended 1: 1).

His development continued with his transfer to Trabzonspor . Mustafa Keçeli Trabzonspor left for the 2008/09 season because he played no role in Ersun Yanal's plans .

Keçeli moved to Bursaspor and became Turkish champions for the first time in 2010. In 2011 he then moved to the newly promoted Mersin İdman Yurdu . After two years he left Mersin and hired the third division team Polatlı Bugsaşspor .

After the first half of the season he moved to his former club Denizlispor during the 2013/14 winter break. During the summer break of 2014, he extended his contract for another year.

As a trainer
