Mustafa Keçeli (born September 15, 1978 in Ankara ) is a Turkish football coach and former player.
Career
As a player
Keçeli began his career in the 1997/98 season with third division team Petrol Ofisi SK . In his first season he rose with the team in the 2nd division. There he was able to prevail against his fellow competitors and moved to Ankaraspor after his second season . Keçeli stayed with Ankaraspor for three years.
He then moved to the Turkcell Süper Lig to Denizlispor . Here he completed most of the games in his career. At Denizlispor he also scored his most important goal in his entire playing career, when he saved not only Denizlispor from relegation, but also the Fenerbahçe championship against Fenerbahçe Istanbul and Christoph Daum on the last day of the 2005/06 season with his 1-0 goal prevented (the game ended 1: 1).
His development continued with his transfer to Trabzonspor . Mustafa Keçeli Trabzonspor left for the 2008/09 season because he played no role in Ersun Yanal's plans .
Keçeli moved to Bursaspor and became Turkish champions for the first time in 2010. In 2011 he then moved to the newly promoted Mersin İdman Yurdu . After two years he left Mersin and hired the third division team Polatlı Bugsaşspor .
After the first half of the season he moved to his former club Denizlispor during the 2013/14 winter break. During the summer break of 2014, he extended his contract for another year.
As a trainer
Keçeli's first coaching station was the amateur club İncirlispor in his native Ankara, where he stayed for almost half a year. He then received an offer to work as a youth coach at his former club Denizlispor. After stints with the U-17 and U-15 youth teams, Keçeli acted as assistant coach for the first team in the 2018/19 season under head coach Yücel İldiz . In his first season with the seniors, at the end of the season he was able to celebrate the championship of the TFF 1.Lig 2018/19 and the promotion to the Süper Lig .
