Muzammil H. Siddiqui

Muzammil H. Siddiqui ( Arabic مزّمل صدّيقي; * 1943 in Rampur , Uttar Pradesh , India ) is a scholar and professor of Islamic law. He is an adjunct professor of Islamic Studies at Chapman University in Orange , California . He is the former chairman of the Fiqh Council of North America in the United States.

He initially received his training at Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama , Lucknow , India . He graduated from the Islamic University of Medina in Saudi Arabia in Arabic and Islamic Studies in 1965 , received his MA in theology from the University of Birmingham in England and his Ph.D. in Comparative Religion from Harvard University in the USA.
