The alcoholics writer Paul Peplow has a job interview with the entrepreneur Victor Quinn. He meets Quinn's wife Elsa. It turns out that Elsa, like him, has a drinking problem. Peplow and Elsa discuss the writer's blockade and the problems with alcohol.
Reviews
Kathryn Flett wrote in The Observer on August 31, 2008 that she doesn't like dramas with a lot of dialogue, but you can't go wrong with a David Hare play - especially with actors “of the caliber of Jonathan Pryce, Paddy Considine and Uma Thurman ". She praised the on-screen presence of Uma Thurman, who appears to be loved by the camera and is a "masterful" cast of her role.
