Myanglung ( Nepali म्याङलुङ Myanglung ) is a city ( municipality ) in eastern Nepal in the Terhathum district .

Myanglung is located at an altitude of 1610  m 5 km north of the Tamor River.

The district administration is located in Myanglung.

The city was created in 2014 by amalgamating the Village Development Committees (VDCs) Ambung , Jirikhimti , Myanglung , Piple , Sabla and Tamphula . The urban area covers 100.1 km².

Residents

At the 2011 census, the VDCs that made up the city of Myanglung had 19,659 residents (9,109 of whom were male) in 4,595 households.
