Mykolaivka ( Ukrainian Миколаївка ; Russian Николаевка Nikolajewka ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Dnipropetrovsk with about 1,300 inhabitants (2012). The village, founded in 1810, was called Novo-Mykolaivka (Ukrainian Ново-Миколаївка ) until 1958 and is the administrative seat of the district council of the same name .
geography
The village is located in the east of Sofijivka Raion 27 km southeast of the district center Sofijivka on the bank of Basawluk . The T-0432 district road runs through Mykolaivka and connects the town to the north with Shchorsk and to the south with Nikopol . The Loschkariwka railway station (Ukrainian: Лошкарівка ), which is located on the Kherson – Dnipropetrovsk railway line of Odeska Zaliznytsia , is 2 km from the village.
