Ordo-Wassyliwka ( Ukrainian Ордо-Василівка ; Russian Ордо-Василевка Ordo-Wassilewka ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Dnipropetrovsk with about 660 inhabitants (April 1, 2013).
history
The name of the village, founded in 1784, was formed from the names of two landowners. The village was called Vasylivkoju ( Василівкою ) or Ordeno-Wassyliwkoju ( Ордено-Василівкою ) in documents from the 19th century . The village has had its current name since the late 19th century. From August 13, 1941 to November 25, 1943 the village was occupied by Wehrmacht troops.

The village is located on the left bank of the Saksahan in the north of the Sofijivka district on the T-419 county road between Pyatychatky and the district center Sofijiwka 23 km south . 46 km southwest of the village is the city center of Krywyj Rih and 127 km northeast of the oblast capital Dnipro .

Ordo-Wassyliwka is the administrative seat of the district council of the same name, which has a total of 2831 inhabitants and an area of 155.4252 km². The municipality borders in the north on the Pyatychatky Rajon , in the west on the Rajon Krywyj Rih , in the east on the municipality Persche Trawnja and in the south on the municipalities Dewladowe and Marje-Dmytriwka .
