Mykolaivka ( Ukrainian Миколаївка ; Russian Николаевка Nikolajewka ) is a village in the Ukrainian Donetsk Oblast with about 1500 inhabitants (2001).

The village was founded in 1813 is the administrative center of the eponymous district municipality municipality in the northeast of Volnovakha Raion to which even the villages Nowohnatiwka ( Новогнатівка , ⊙ ) with about 600 inhabitants, Bohdaniwka ( Богданівка , ⊙ ) with about 70 inhabitants and Wiktoriwka ( Вікторівка , ⊙ ) with about 15 inhabitants.
The village is located at an altitude of 156 m on the bank of the Mokra Wolnovacha ( Мокра Волноваха ), a 63 km long right tributary of the Kalmius , 12 km southeast of the Novotrojitske urban-type settlement , 18 km west of the Wolnowacha district center and 47 km south of the center of the oblast Donetsk . Ten kilometers west of the village is the N 20 highway and east of the village is the front line to the “ Donetsk People's Republic ” , which has broken away from the central government .
