Mynor Ramírez

Mynor Ramírez Fuentes (born July 25, 1972 ) is a retired Guatemalan wrestler . He was a medalist at Pan American Championships and an Olympian for Guatemala in the Greco-Roman style paper weight.

Career

Mynor Ramírez started wrestling as a teenager. He was active in both styles, the Greco-Roman and the free style. He always wrestled in paper weight, the lightest weight class that had its weight limit at 48 kg in its day.

In 1990, at the age of 18, he took part in an international championship for the first time and took 3rd place in the Greco-Roman style at the Central American & Caribbean Championships in Mexico City, behind Wilber Sánchez from Cuba and Joel Manuel Medina from Venezuela .

At the Pan American Games in Havana in 1991 , Mynor Ramírez started both in free style and in Greco-Roman. Style. In the free style, he finished behind Aldo Martínez from Cuba, Jose A. Sabino from the cathedral. Rep. And Tim Vanni from the United States placed 4th, in Greco-Roman. Style, where Mark Fuller , USA , won the paper weight , he finished 7th.

Then he ended his international wrestling career.
