The Nère is a river in France that runs in the Cher department in the Center-Val de Loire region . It rises in the hill country of Sancerre , on the municipal boundary of La Chapelotte and Jars , drains generally in a north-westerly direction and after 39 kilometers flows into the Sologne landscape , near Clémont , as a left tributary into the Sauldre .
