The NBA Finals of the 2010/11 season in the North American professional basketball league NBA were from May 31, 2011 to June 12, 2011 American time between the Dallas Mavericks (winners of the Western Conference ) and the Miami Heat (winners of the Eastern Conference ) carried out. Like the entire play-offs , the final round was decided in a best-of-seven process.

The final was a new edition of the final series of 2006. At that time the Miami Heat won 4-2 after Dallas had already taken a 2-0 lead. Home rights enjoyed the Miami Heat due to the better record in the regular season , that is, an all-important seventh game would have taken place in Miami.

Dallas wins the series 4-2

At the beginning of the first quarter, Jason Terry was able to turn the game around in favor of the Mavericks with five points within the first minute of his substitution. At the beginning of the second quarter, Miami managed to turn the game around and bring the away team from Dallas 40:42 behind. During the penultimate quarter, the Mavericks extended their lead to 81:72 thanks to eight points from Dirk Nowitzki , who only got three points in the entire first half. In the last quarter, in which Nowitzki was the best thrower in the final quarter with ten points, as in the previous games, the visiting team from Dallas kept their lead and won the series and thus their first NBA championship with the 105:95 away win.
