NGC 2035 is an emission nebula in the Large Magellanic Cloud in the constellation Dorado . The object was discovered on September 27, 1826 by the Scottish astronomer James Dunlop .
NGC 2035 belongs to N59A , an H-II region in the large magellanic cloud on the southeastern edge of the super-bubble LMC4.
