Nadeschda Anatoljewna Kossinzewa ( Russian: Надежда Анатольевна Косинцева , English spelling used by FIDE : Nadezhda Kosintseva ; born January 14, 1985 in Arkhangelsk ) is a Russian chess master .

Career

Nadeschda Kossinzewa already distinguished herself as an excellent chess player as a girl and youth player. She won gold four times at European and World Championships for women in youth: She was U10 European champion in Verdun (1995), U12 European champion in Tallinn (1997), U14 world champion in Oropesa del Mar (1998) and U18 European champion in Kallithea (2000).

Nadezhda Kosinzewa was the dominant winner in the Russian women's superfinal in Moscow in 2008 . She won the FIDE Caissa Award for 2009 Female Player of the Year , in 2009 she did not lose a game.

Nadeschda Kossinzewa has held the women's grandmaster title (WGM) since 2002 and the title of International Master (IM) since 2004 . She achieved the required standards at the European individual championships for women in 2002 in Varna and 2003 in Istanbul as well as at the chess festival in Biel / Bienne in July 2004. In 2011, Nadescha Kossinzewa was appointed Grand Master (GM), and she fulfilled the required standards at the 2010 Biel Chess Festival , at the 2010 Women's Chess Olympiad in Khanty-Mansiysk and at the 2011 Tradewise Chess Festival in Gibraltar . In 2011 she was named the Honored Master of Sports of Russia . She was trained together with her sister by Garri Kasparov's former coach Yuri Dochojan . With her highest rating to date of 2576 in November 2010, she was in fifth place in the women's world rankings.

She has been married to the German grandmaster Leonid Kritz since December 2012 .

National team

Nadezhda Kosinzewa took part with the Russian women's team in the 2004 , 2006 , 2008 , 2010 and 2012 Chess Olympiads in Istanbul. She won the 2010 and 2012 Olympics with the team and was the best single player in 2004 on the reserve board, in 2008 on the third, in 2010 on the second and 2012 on the third board.

After the 2012 Chess Olympiad, she announced that she would withdraw from the national team as long as it was being supervised by Sergei Rublevsky as head coach. The reason given was that she had been exposed to strong psychological pressure during the tournament.

Kosinzewa also took part in the women's team championships in 2007, 2009 and 2011, where she finished second with the Russian team. In 2009 she also won the individual ranking on the second board and achieved the second best rating of all participants.

At the European Team Championships women she took in 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2011 and won this with Russia in 2007, 2009 and 2011. In 2009, she also reached the highest individual score on the third board.

Nadezhda Kosinzewa took part in the European Women's Club Cup four times : in 2005 and 2006 with the AVS Krasnoturinsk , in 2008 and 2009 with Spartak Vidnoe , with whom she won the competition in 2009.
