Nadezhda Pavlovna Chnykina (married Dwalishvili Georgian ნადეჟდა დვალიშვილ-ხნიკინა , Russian Надежда Павловна Хныкина-Двалишвили ; born June 24, 1933 in Tbilisi ) is a former Georgian athlete . In the sprint and long jump , she competed internationally for the Soviet Union .

At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952 , she won the bronze medal in the 200-meter run behind Marjorie Jackson (23.7 s) and Bertha Brouwer (24.2 s) with a time of 24.2 s . Chnykina also started in Helsinki in the 100-meter run , but was eliminated in the preliminary round. With the Soviet 4 x 100 meter relay she reached fourth place.

Chnykina competed in the long jump at the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 . With 6.07 m she finished third behind Elżbieta Krzesińska (6.35 m) and Willye White (6.09 m).

Nadeshda Chnykina had a competition weight of 55 kg with a height of 1.68 m and started for Dinamo Tbilisi .
