Nadine Boske

Nadine Boske (born March 23, 1986 in Berlin ) is a German actress .

Life

After graduating from high school, Nadine Boske first studied German and History at the Ernst Moritz Arndt University in Greifswald to become a teacher, but then turned to acting and graduated from the Babelsberg Film University from 2008 to 2012 . During her training, she made guest appearances at the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam and the Maxim Gorki Theater in her hometown. After completing vocational training, Boske had her first engagement at the Young Generation Theater in Dresden, and has been an ensemble member at the Lübeck Theater since 2015 .

In Dresden she played Lotte in The Sorrows of Young Werther by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe , the title role in Alice in Wonderland based on the children's book of the same name by Lewis Carroll or the character of Agnes in the stage version of the youth film Raus aus Åmål . The Lübeck audience has seen Boske so far as Marianne in Ödön von Horváth's Tales from the Vienna Woods , in the Tennessee Williams pieces The Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Orpheus Comes Down or as Lisa in Children of the Sun by Maxim Gorki .

Boske also works for film and television. In 2014 she played a bigger role as a homeless person next to Christiane Hörbiger in the film On the Road , directed by Florian Baxmeyer , and played a supporting character in the German-American production A Cure for Wellness , which was released in 2017 .

Nadine Boske lives in Lübeck.
