Nadine Herrmann (born December 21, 1995 ) is a German cross-country skier .

Career

Herrmann, who competes for Bockauer SV , took part in U20 races in the Alpine Cup from 2013 to 2015 . She took sixth place in the 2013/14 season and tenth place in the U20 overall ranking in the 2014/15 season. At the European Olympic Winter Youth Festival 2013 in Predeal she came in 13th place over 5 km classic, tenth place in sprint and seventh place over 7.5 km freestyle. In February 2014, she completed her first race in the adult class in the Alpine Cup in Oberwiesenthal , where she achieved ninth place over 10 km classic. At the German Cross-Country Ski Championships 2015 in Oberwiesenthal and Bodenmais , she was third in the 5 km freestyle and fourth in the team sprint together with her sister Denise . In February 2015 she won the bronze medal with the relay at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2015 in Almaty . In the individual races you get 32nd place in the skiathlon and 30th place over 5 km freestyle. At the U23 World Championships 2017 in Soldier Hollow , she finished 26th in the 10 km freestyle and 13th in the sprint. In January 2018 she started after three top ten placements at the Alpine Cup in Campra , in Dresden for the first time in the World Cup and took her first World Cup points with 29th place in the sprint.

In the 2018/19 season Herrmann achieved seven top ten placements, including third place over 10 km classic in Planica , fifth place in the overall ranking of the Alpine Cup. At the end of March 2019, she and Denise Herrmann finished second in the team sprint at the German cross-country skiing championships in Reit im Winkl .
