Nailbomb was a band that Max Cavalera (Ex- Sepultura / Soulfly / Cavalera Conspiracy ) and Alex Newport ( Fudge Tunnel ) formed as a side project in 1994.
history
Igor Cavalera (Ex-Sepultura, Cavalera Conspiracy), Andreas Kisser (Sepultura), Dino Cazares ( Fear Factory ), DH Peligro ( Dead Kennedys ), Evan Seinfeld also worked on the studio recordings and the only live performance at Dynamo Open Air 1995 ( Biohazard ) and Rhys Fulber (Fear Factory) with.
A total of two albums ( Roadrunner Records ) and one DVD were released. After the appearance of Proud to Commit Commercial Suicide , the band broke up again. This was planned from the beginning, a studio album ( Point Blank ) and a live album ( Proud to Commit Commercial Suicide ) should be released. The band's plan was "To make the fucking heaviest album ever." Both albums received largely poor reviews.
Point Blank was in 2004 in a remastered version, including six bonus tracks re-released .

The band's style is characterized by a hard mix of Thrash Metal , Industrial Metal and Hardcore Punk , the songs have an unmistakable “metallic” sound.
