Narciso Abellana
Narciso Villaver Abellana MSC (born November 11, 1953 in Talisay City , Province of Cebu , Philippines ) is Bishop of Romblon .
Life
Narciso Abellana joined the congregation of the Sacred Heart Missionaries and made perpetual profession on June 2, 1977 . He received on 28 December 1978, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On October 15, 2013, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Romblon. The Archbishop of Lingayen-Dagupan , Socrates Buenaventura Villegas , donated him episcopal ordination on December 11th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of San Jose , Roberto Calara Mallari , and the Bishop of Cabanatuan , Sofronio Aguirre Bancud SSS . The inauguration took place on January 9, 2014.
