Natalia Leonidovna Ignatova
Natalja Leonidowna Ignatova ( Russian Наталья Леонидовна Игнатова , English transcription Natalya Ignatova ; born December 28, 1973 in Kostroma Oblast ) is a former Russian sprinter .
At the World Athletics Championships in Athens in 1997 and the European Athletics Championships in Budapest in 1998, she was eliminated over 100 m in the preliminary run; In 1999 she reached the quarter-finals at the 1999 World Cup in Seville. Also at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney and at the 2001 World Cup in Edmonton, she reached the quarter-finals in the individual competition, while she took fifth and seventh place with the Russian team in the 4 x 100 meter relay .
At the European Athletics Championships in 2002 , she retired over 100 m in the first round and won the bronze medal in the Russian 4 x 100 meter relay.
In 2000 she became Russian champion over 60 m indoors and over 100 m outdoors.
