Nathon Allen (born October 28, 1995 ) is a Jamaican sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter run .
Athletic career
Allen achieved his first international successes in the junior division in 2014. At the CARIFTA Games in Fort-de-France, Martinique, he won silver medals in the U20 age group in the 400-meter run and in the 4-by-400-meter relay . At the Junior World Championships in Eugene , he won bronze in the relay and reached the semi-finals over 400 meters.
He celebrated his most significant success to date at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. In the 4-by-400 season, he won the silver medal behind the US team and ahead of the Bahamas team, along with Peter Matthews , Fitzroy Dunkley and Javon Francis .
