The low moor area near Georgenberg is a nature reserve near Georgenberg in the Upper Palatinate district of Neustadt an der Waldnaab in Bavaria .

The nature reserve is located about 2.6 kilometers east of Georgenberg directly on the Czech border. It is part of the Northern Upper Palatinate Forest Nature Park and the landscape protection area within the Northern Upper Palatinate Forest Nature Park (formerly a protection zone).

The approximately 63 hectare area is an extensive wetland complex, the greater part of which is on Czech territory and is also protected. The nature reserve is characterized by a large number of wetland-bound habitat types that are very rare in the surrounding cultural landscape. In addition, it is of national importance from an ornithological point of view. Characteristic wetland complexes can be found here, consisting of wet meadows rich in rushes and sedge , grass lawns , small sedge swamps and areas of wild game. It is also a nationally significant retreat for black grouse .

The nature reserve was designated on September 6, 1994.
