The Arenritt quarry nature reserve is an 8.4  hectare nature reserve east of Strücken in the urban area of Lüdenscheid in the Märkisches Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia . The area was designated as a NSG in 1994. It is east of the Volme and the federal highway 54 .

Area description

In the reserve there are three abandoned greywacke - Quarries and adjacent Hardwood stocks on the southwest flank of Mount Arenritt or on the right, west exposed Volmesteilhang. The deciduous forest is partly as hornbeam - Niederwald trained. The multi-stemmed hornbeams rarely reach heights greater than 12 m.
