Ndwedwe ( English Ndwedwe Local Municipality ) is a municipality in the iLembe district , KwaZulu-Natal province in South Africa . In 2011 the population was 140,820 on a total area of ​​1,157 km². The seat of the municipal administration is in Ndwedwe . The African National Congress provides the majority in the local council.
