Nebulosus (neb) ( Latin for "foggy") is a meteorological term for a cloud structure. What is meant are fog-like , structureless clouds in the form of a veil or a layer that does not reveal any clear details. This term is mainly used for cirrostratus and stratus . Fog is often also Stratus nebulosus, but can also belong to the species Fractus .
