Radiatus (ra) ( lat. "Radiant") are clouds that have broad, parallel bands or are arranged in parallel strips so that, due to the perspective effect on the horizon , they extend in one, or if the bands extend over the whole sky, seem to converge in two opposite points, the so-called radiation points .

This term is mainly used for cirrus , altocumulus , stratocumulus and cumulus .
