The Neighborhood (including the NBHD ) is an American alternative rock - band which was founded in August 2011 by singer Jesse Rutherford, guitarist Jeremy Freedman and Zach Abel and bassist Mikey Margott. After the release of the EPs I'm sorry ... and Thank you , their first studio album I love you was released on April 23, 2013 . released. Her second studio album Wiped Out! reached number 13 on the Billboard charts.

In early 2013, Sweater Weather rose to the top of the Billboard Alternative Charts. On April 16, 2013, the music magazine Rolling Stone announced the studio album I love you. and described it as dark and atmospheric. The band is known for their black and white pictures and videos. This idea came about because singer Jesse Rutherford is color blind. The EP The love collection contains the songs West Coast , No Gray and $ TING . In March 2014 her new album Black and White was announced, of which the song Jealou $ y is already known. Her song Honest also appeared on the soundtrack of The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro . November 2014 they released their mixtape with the title # 000000 & #ffffff . Their second album Wiped Out! was published on October 30, 2015.
Tours
After releasing the album I love you , The Neighborhood performed at the 2013 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival . The band also played the song Afraid on a Live Nation sponsored show at SXSW in March 2013. On April 23, 2013, The Neighborhood announced their summer tour, The Love Collection Tour, with the bands Lovelife, The 1975 and JMSN. On May 30, 2013, the band announced a tour with the Imagine Dragons from July to September 2013. In November 2013 she also performed at the Coastline Festival in Florida . On December 8, 2013, she opened Not so silent night for Bastille , Arcade Fire , Alt-J , Phoenix and Lorde . In August 2014 they performed at Frequency . Their second tour was called Wiped Out! with which they came through the USA and Canada, including Europe.
