The Neue Bielefelder Hütte is an alpine hut in the Stubai Alps in Tyrol , Austria . It is located at an altitude of 2112 m above sea level. A. below the 3007 m high Acherkogel in the front Oetztal . The Bielefeld Hut is part of the section Bielefeld of the German Alpine Club and is right in the ski area of the ski resort Hochoetz .
history
The Bielefelder Hütte was built in 1914 just below the northern slopes of the Acherkogel, almost two kilometers south of the current location ( location ) and served as a refuge until it was destroyed by an avalanche in 1951. The hut was no longer built at its former location. In 1953/54 the new Bielefelder Hütte was built in a contemporary way at its current location. The remains of the old hut became the Alte Bielefelder Hütte , the foundations of which can still be seen today.
Accesses
- From Oetz ( 1068 m ) via Windegg or Acherbergalm in a walking time of three hours.
- From Ochsengarten ( 1542 m ) in a walking time of two hours.
- With the Acherkogelbahn to Hochoetz ( 2020 m ) from there in a walking time of half an hour or in winter on skis.

The Bielefelder Hütte is the stage destination of the Knappenwege in the Hochoetz Ochsengarten Kühtai hiking area . The sometimes quite demanding hiking tours are based on the historical past of the region as a medieval mining area.
