Normal way From the Schweinfurter Hütte over the Hochreichjoch

The Hochreichkopf is a 3010  m above sea level. A. high mountain in the north-western part of the Stubai Alps in Tyrol . The broad summit lies between the Nieder- and Hochreichjoch, east of the Ötztal .

The easiest, marked ascent leads from the east of the Schweinfurter Hütte in 3½ hours over the Hochreichjoch ( 2912  m ). Alternatively, the summit can also be approached from the north. This path, also the path of the first climber, leads from Kühtai through the Längental  over the Niederreichscharte to the Hochreichscharte, where it meets the ascent path from the east. About 4½ hours are estimated for this ascent variant, the crossing of the western flank of the summit between Nieder- and Hochreichjoch requires surefootedness .
